DWC could not carry
out our vital programs and activities benefiting homeless women without the
support and dedication of our 600+ volunteer base who give so generously of
their time, talents, and resources. Many thanks to each of you! If you are not currently a member of DWC's corps of volunteers, please refer to our How You Can Help pages to learn about our many involvement opportunities. |

Community
support DWC’s community of supporters has generously responded to the crisis of homelessness among women. The expansion of our affordable housing and vital, free services for homeless women is possible thanks to the resources provided by the corporations, foundations, individuals, and groups in our community who support our work with financial and in-kind contributions. 29 years after our founding, DWC remains the only organization on Skid Row where homeless women can find personalized, supportive services and a safe community exclusive to women. We are committed to sustain and enhance our programs, offering 40,000 meals, supportive services, and affordable housing for over 2000 homeless women in the downtown area each year whose lives are touched by DWC. |
